Guy I have added a video on my home page here that is about baking. I added it because the woman doing the baking is wearing a kayak naked t shirt in the second half. Cheers Greg

Virtual Paddle

Greg, I just found this video kind of cool.

And here I thought we had the only desert in Canada.

Virtual Paddle would be cool, would probably have to have a good detail map of the world. maybe www.everytrail.com might be able to be integrated into it or something like that.

News for you. |The entie NWT and Nunavut are really deserts as we get less than ten inches of percipitation per year and there is a desert in Carcross, Yukon that is only 35 miles long or something like that. Thye desert in Carcross used to be advertised as the worlds smallest desert but I'm not sure if it is.
Virtual paddle seems like a fun way to map your travels I wonder what type of software we would need. Winter project perhaps.

Guy next stop on my Virtual walk across Canada is Castlegar I'm approximately 2,450,000 steps into the puppy now and going strong. Castlegar will be toast by next week and then Trail. I like the new look loads fast on my new PC.

Just thought that this would be a good time to remind you folks to visit www.canadianrivers.net and help save our right to paddle Canadian Waterways. Registering with the site is easy and free and you can them sign the online petition and they will keep you informed as to what is taking place, I have signed the petItion and written my MP, the Minister of Transortation and even Harper hinself. As canadain we take to much crap from our electer represenatives and this needs to be addressed. Should this go through your pleasant paddles on the lake would become illegal activities. Their plan is an insult to any Canadian and we can help stop it, lock and load your computers and get busy sending and signing. Cheers Greg
