Sounds like a blast! How fast does the Thompson river run? Is it too fast to paddle back up to your place after or would you have to get a pickup at the bottom?
I am thinking I would like to paddle down the Okanagan River to Osoyoos from Penticton sometime but I think I would have someone meet me in Osoyoos afterwards.

in-laws in Kamloops. Any good lakes in Darfield?
