in regards to airfare you can get to Edmonton or C;agary pretty cheap with west jet .Theyare a disciound airline and have very good service . The earlier you book the flight the cheaper they are. I flew to Vancovwer from Edmonton for 182 Canadian it was expensive unfortunale for me I had to travel on a holiday so they crank up the price I took the sme flight the other way one month later forn 50dollars.has I booked it when I took the firsttrip. It pays to looknaound and with the net it is now very easy Greg
Squirt boats are for paddling the currents beneath the surface of the river. They act like a wing and allow you to totaaly submerge yourself in the river. They are not like anything you have paddled and they take some getting used to. They are designed to sink not swim and are very touchy to control. This is avery pecialized area and is growing, many serious playboaters pratice with squirts as they allow you t develpe great boat control and abs of steel. I am just a beginner and it is fun but difficult. There is noone else here with a squirt and so I have no one to ask for help. I am enjoying the boat and will work with it again this summer or a bit more this winter in the pool Cheers Greg
hello
I haven't yet paddled in Canada, but my plan is to by a kayak and a car, and go to BC, Washington State and Oregon to paddle since may 15th to end of june, and before that I will paddle in Alberta (15 rivers in less than 150kms).
Still looking for buddies to paddle...
