I have just read that the size of lee boards should be 4 to 5% of the sail area and long slim ones are to be preffered. They should have a aero-foil shape for better performance instead of the flat ply that i have used although how much better tha...

John: You have been so helpful I thought I'd ask some questions about Playak. I can't find any place to look for help in navigating the site or doing things on the site. I'd like to put my picture up but haven't been successful. I received an email that someone had put a message on my page, but I don't see anything. Any idea? Also is there a way to search for someone by name?
I love the idea of the site, but it is confusing.
Thanks in advance.

I wasn't looking for any part in particular. Just wanted a source in case something broke. My Klepper is pretty old.
On another note: I am building a set of outriggers for sailing. It's very much an idle time project, so is going to take a while.
I have been creating a powerpoint file to show how a Klepper is put together. Do you think that would be something that should be put on this site?

I would appreciate getting that list. I hesitate to put an email address in a public forum. So I'll just use hints. I have a Yahoo account in the name of ham_n_man.
I'm hoping to begin visiting and camping on the islands in the Maine Island Trail system this summer. If I do I'll write up the trips here.
