I also learnt a big lesson about not having your throw bag around your weist. i rolled over and got it caught on a submerged log which held me under not allowing me to roll up. luckily when i pulled my deck i could get it off. phew!

I was there in 1992 and was not a paddler at the time, but it is indeed a favoured spot the falls are amazing. I camped in a campground on the Zambia side very near the falls for a bout 3 days before crossing to Zimbabwe. Love to come back and look around some more. Cheers Greg
